Ode to Summer + Chocolate for Breakfast
It seems as though fall is finally arriving. With the last few days reaching above twenty degrees (Celsius that is) it has been an unusually hot October. Now that it actually feels like autumn, I think it’s best to say a formal “goodbye” to summer.
In memory of a fantastic summer I have produced a chocolate milkshake that is good enough for breakfast (really!). There’s a chocolate and blackberry milkshake recipe in one of my favourite cookbooks, but it was a bit too indulgent to have that alone for breakfast. So I made a few swaps and added a couple things in and voilà! A breakfast-worthy chocolate milkshake.
This is the perfect thing to sip or spoon (if you’re a smoothie bowl type like myself) as you reminisce on your favourite summer memories.
Happy fall!
xx
Ashley
