Decadent Hot Chocolate
With the unfortunate resurgence of winter weather we are currently experiencing here in Southern Ontario, I thought there would be no time like the present to share one of my favourite winter recipes, but who am I kidding? I make this hot chocolate recipe all year around, but it is especially nice to enjoy whilst curled up by the fire watching snowflakes flutter down outside your window or while staying indoors to avoid the frigid wind chills like I am currently doing.
This decadent hot chocolate recipe is super easy to whip up when you need a little chocolate pick me up (for me, that’s pretty much every day). This is also a great recipe to share with friends, which is one of my favourite ways to enjoy hot chocolate. Whisking in some chopped dark chocolate at the end really boosts the decadence of the hot chocolate and is an optional step, but I would highly recommend that you don’t skip it.
I’m keeping it brief here today because I’m up to my ears in schoolwork at the moment, but wanted to take a break to share this recipe for all my fellow Ontarions experiencing this nasty cold weather. Stay warm out there!
