Blueberry Hibiscus Iced Tea

Blueberry Hibiscus Iced Tea

Here’s a fun fact about me: I have never had a cup of coffee—I am a tea drinker through and through! Lately, I’ve been swapping my afternoon caffeinated tea for an herbal option, which led me to hibiscus tea. Made from steeping the dried petals

Corn Salad with Fresh Mozzarella and Peaches

Corn Salad with Fresh Mozzarella and Peaches

In my opinion, when it comes to produce, July and August are the best months of the year. I’ve been leaning heavily into the season’s best, making crumbles, salads, and eating any piece of stone fruit I can find! To celebrate this glorious season, I

Strawberry Basil Margarita

Strawberry Basil Margarita

My drink of choice is anything with tequila, and I love a good margarita as much as the next girl. Nothing beats a tangy, refreshing margarita on a hot summer day. Celebrating the delicious sweetness of local strawberries, this Strawberry Basil Margarita is a fun twist on a summer classic.

Pavlova with Lemon & Passionfruit Curd

Pavlova with Lemon & Passionfruit Curd

If I were asked to rank my top three desserts, pavlova would be number one, followed by tiramisu and crème brûlée. Pavlova is the perfect dessert for the spring and summer because it is light while still being decadent. There is simply nothing better than

Nine Days in Paris

Nine Days in Paris

Four Easy + Refreshing Juices

‘Tis the season, for cold juices that is. With the past few days climbing up to the high twenties I’ve been a big fan of pressed juices. Buying fresh juice can be pretty pricey, which I find to be strange considering how, relatively, inexpensive it

Ode to Summer + Chocolate for Breakfast

Ode to Summer + Chocolate for Breakfast

It seems as though fall is finally arriving. With the last few days reaching above twenty degrees (Celsius that is) it has been an unusually hot October. Now that it actually feels like autumn, I think it’s best to say a formal “goodbye” to summer.

Massassauga Canoe Trip Summer 2017

Massassauga Canoe Trip Summer 2017

Every year when June rolled around and school began to wind down I would vow to have “the best summer” ever. Every year I told myself that I was going to do so many cool things and see my friends all the time over the summer holiday and every year I was equally disappointed. I loved to dream of the “perfect summer” but usually ended up working 90% of the time and twiddling my thumbs with boredom the other 10%. Since this summer was my last before starting university I was determined to make it great and I definitely did not disappoint myself this year. Continue reading Massassauga Canoe Trip Summer 2017
