Packed with sweet frozen fruit and antioxidant rich açai, this refreshing açai bowl is the perfect way to beat the summer heat. Top with crunchy granola, fresh fruit, and creamy nut butter for an elevated summer treat.

Equipment

  • High speed blender

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup non-dairy milk
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango
  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries (4 to 5 berries)
  • 3/4 cup frozen blueberries
  • 2 tablespoon açai berry powder
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Pinch of sea salt

Toppings

  • Granola
  • Nut butter (almond, peanut, cashew, etc)
  • Fresh fruit
  • Coconut flakes

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend on high until smooth. If your blender has a tamper, use that to scrape down the sides of the blender while blending. If you do not have a tamper, you may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender with a spoon a few times.
  • Serve the açai smoothie in a bowl with your favourite toppings. I like granola, fresh fruit, and almond butter.
