Preheat the oven to 325°F and grease a 9 inch springform pan with coconut oil.
In a double boiler melt the chocolate and oil along with the salt over medium heat.
Meanwhile, beat eggs and sugar together in the bowl of a stand mixer until light and thickened. This takes about 5 or so minutes. Fold in the chocolate mixture and the baking soda until completely combined.
Pour the batter into your prepared pan and bake in the centre of the oven for 1 hour and 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before removing it from the pan.
Remove from pan and serve with fresh fruit, coconut cream, ice-cream or just eat it on its own!
