Ingredients

  • 2 cups oat milk
  • 2 teaspoons loose leaf Earl Grey tea (or 2 Earl Grey tea bags)
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup gluten free quick oats
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 2 teaspoons ground flax seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • a pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Bring the milk to a simmer in a small saucepan over low heat. Remove from the heat and add the Earl Grey tea. Steep for 5 minutes, then stir in the maple syrup and vanilla.
  • While the tea is steeping, whisk together the oats, flax seeds, chia seeds, cinnamon, and salt in a small mixing bowl.
  • Pour the steeped tea over the oat mixture and whisk to combine. Transfer to a container and refrigerate overnight. Enjoy the next morning with your favourite toppings.
