Ode to Summer Chocolate Smoothie

Ingredients

For the Smoothie

  • 1 banana, frozen
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon maca powder
  • 1-2 teaspoons hemp protein powder
  • 2-3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons cacao nibs
  • 1 teaspoon ground flax
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds

Optional Toppings

  • Bee pollen
  • Cacao nibs
  • Nuts + seeds
  • Fresh + frozen berries
  • Coconut chips

Instructions

  • Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Taste and adjust flavours to your liking.
  • Pour smoothie into a glass or bowl, top if you like and enjoy! Cheers to summer and fall!
