Socca with Grilled Roots and Golden Hummus

Socca with Grilled Roots and Golden Hummus

As November sets in I have found myself in need of a good pick me up. It seems as though we completely skipped nice fall weather and went straight into the crappyness of November. I mean, I can’t really complain too much about the weather because we […]

Forever Nuts Loaf + A Challenge

Forever Nuts Loaf + A Challenge

The other day I was in a Davids Tea in downtown Kingston. They had a great deal where if you bought two tins of tea you would get the third one free. I’m a big tea fan so this deal was pretty great for me. I spent […]

Orange Raspberry Muffins

Orange Raspberry Muffins

This summer was a pretty weird one weather wise. Since it rained almost everyday my garden was thriving! It was luscious and green, but due to the lack of hot days nothing was ripening. So, when I left for school I gave my mom one task, to look after my garden. I even sent here reminders via text. She looked after it to the best of her ability. Sprouted Buckwheat Granola

Sprouted Buckwheat Granola

This recipe actually happened by accident. I was soaking buckwheat groats for a different granola recipe, but the next morning after the groats were already soaked I realized that I did not have any of the other ingredients. So, I drained the groats and left them to sit for a day and a bit, and when I revisited them to make my recipe I found that they had sprouted little tails! At this point I abandoned the recipe I was planning to make and decided to create my own to share with you. (more…)
