Let me begin by saying that this post is way overdue. Last March my family and I travelled to Puerto Vallarta for the March Break holiday and ever since we returned I have been meaning to share my photographs and suggestions of places to go. Unfortunately, I was just too busy to ever write that post (until now, ha!). I guess late is better than never!
These last few weeks have been a complete and total whirlwind! With two portfolios due, a mass of school assignments, extracurricular activities and a vacation thrown right in the middle, I’ve had almost no time to myself. Fortunately, it’s starting to wind down (thank God!).
Smoothies are my go-to breakfast. They are so simple, quick, delicious and they can pack a pretty epic nutritional punch, which is ideal first thing in the morning. When I have an early morning practice I like to blend up a nice thick smoothie the night before, then all I have to do in the morning is pour it into a bowl and throw some toppings on it and voilà, breakfast! If you know me, you know I have an array of odd food obsessions. Hummus, anything with sweet potatoes, sushi, watermelon, just to name a few. I also adore nut butter, especially almond based nut butters (I’m not a fan of peanut butter). Honestly, I could live off of nut butter.
